Compare a free admission day, individual tickets and a year pass using the visits you actually plan. Check opening dates, booking rules and travel costs first. The best value can be a free local outing rather than a pass you will not use.

Add the current individual admission prices for your planned sites and visitors, after concessions and free days. Compare that sum with the appropriate Heritage Card, excluding visits that would already cost nothing.
Free-Wednesday tickets are first come, first served rather than online reservations. For other visits check the site’s booking route and season; a pass does not guarantee a place on a full tour.

Published policy information, not a checkout quote or reservation. Confirm current eligibility, availability and the final total before paying. Policy review dates do not refresh the dates on offers.
Illustration, not a quoted site admission: at €8 for each planned paid visit, five visits total €40 and equal an adult €40 card; six visits total €48 and the card saves €8. A visit taken free on an eligible Wednesday contributes €0, so it does not help a paid card reach break-even.
At published rates, two adult cards and one 12–18 child card cost €40 + €40 + €10 = €90, equal to the family card. With two children 12–18, separate cards cost €100 and the €90 family card saves €10. For two adults and only under-12s, adult cards cost €80; do not automatically buy the €90 family card. Compare seniors or students using their eligible rates too.
