KEEPING IT SIMPLE

Your privacy.

discounts.ie is a public directory. You do not need an account to use it.

Browsing and search

Retailer search runs in your browser against the directory’s search index.

If you submit a search through the search button, the search term can appear in the directory URL. Like other requested URLs, it may be included in hosting request logs.

Hosting

The site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. We do not claim that ordinary web requests are anonymous.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site so that we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages visited, session activity, approximate location, and browser and device details. Google processes this information on our behalf.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies named _ga and_ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies can last for up to two years. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalisation signals in the site’s Analytics configuration.

You can block or delete these cookies using your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Read Google’s privacy policy for more about how Google handles information.

Retailer links

When you follow a retailer or source link, you leave discounts.ie. The destination site’s own privacy and cookie practices apply. We do not operate a redirect-based click-tracking service.

Changes

We will update this page when features change how the website handles information, including advertising or affiliate tracking. Last updated: 11 September 2026.
