MAKE YOUR VOUCHERS GO FURTHER
Best Tesco Clubcard Rewards for your plans
Find an Irish reward you’ll actually use, then compare its real saving with spending the vouchers on groceries.

Start with spending you already planned
Our first pick for an eligible existing customer is SSE Airtricity: bill credit is easy to use. For a meal, consider Milano; for a day out, Airfield. For a ferry trip, compare Stena’s special fare before exchanging. A bigger multiplier does not always mean a better saving.
See all Irish Reward Partners ↗| Partner / best fit | Clubcard vouchers | Reward value |
|---|---|---|
| SSE Airtricity ↗ An existing eligible energy bill | €10 | €20 bill credit |
| Milano ↗ A dine-in meal you already want | €1 | €3 towards eligible food |
| Airfield Estate ↗ A general-admission day out | €0.50 | €1 towards admission |
| Stena Line ↗ A planned car-ferry journey | €5 | €15 towards a Tesco fare |
1. SSE Airtricity: an existing bill
For Republic of Ireland electricity or dual-fuel bill-pay customers who join SSE Rewards. Exchange €10 for €20 credit, up to €60 credit per account per calendar year. Codes last six months; credit can take 30 days after redemption.
Worked example: against the same €100 bill, one €20 code leaves €80 to pay. Including the €10 grocery value surrendered, the effective cost is €90: €10 better off. This assumes you have allowance left and redeem successfully. Don’t switch supplier just for the reward without comparing the full tariff.

2. Milano: a meal, with exclusions
Exchange in €1 steps, from €1 to €50 in vouchers, at three times their value. Codes cover eligible dine-in food, including the children’s menu. Drinks, delivery, collection, set menus and other promotions are excluded. Tell your waiter before ordering and check the expiry in your reward email. Codes are non-transferable; unused, expired or redeemed codes cannot be refunded. No change is given for overpayment.
Compare the same meal against the restaurant’s available direct offer. A €30 reward bought with €10 of vouchers is only €20 extra value if you use the full reward and would otherwise pay €30. A cheaper set menu can reduce that advantage.
3. Airfield Estate: a day out in Dublin
Each 50c of vouchers becomes €1 towards general admission. Exchange first, then show the reward code at the ticket office and pay the balance. Reward bookings cannot be made online. Events, annual passes, food, drink, merchandise and promotions are excluded. Check admission prices and opening days before exchanging; no fixed code-validity period was stated on the listing reviewed, so confirm expiry before exchanging.
Choose only enough reward value for the admission you need: overpayment is not refunded. Compare the same group’s direct admission total, including any family option, rather than multiplying individual ticket prices by default.

4. Stena Line: compare both fares first
€5 becomes €15 towards the special Tesco fare. Use one code per booking. Dublin–Holyhead and Rosslare–Fishguard have no reward-value cap; Belfast–Liverpool is excluded. Foot-passenger travel is excluded under Tesco’s terms. Belfast–Cairnryan and Harwich–Hook of Holland allow up to €105 per single journey or €210 per return booking in reward value.
The Stena Tesco booking page is the redemption route. Check your reward email for the code’s expiry before exchanging or booking; the public pages reviewed do not specify a fixed validity period. Get both quotes for identical passengers, vehicle, sailing and extras before converting vouchers; the reward fare may differ from the cheapest direct fare. Pay any remainder by card.
Tesco’s Stena terms ↗. Tesco and Stena describe different last-minute booking cut-offs (Tesco: the day before; Stena: up to departure); book early or confirm directly before relying on a late redemption.
Is the reward actually better value?
Extra saving = best direct cash price − cash top-up − Clubcard voucher value used. Include fees and excluded items in the top-up. Your vouchers have value even though no money leaves your bank account when you exchange them.
Compare your own quotes
The starting numbers are an illustrative ferry comparison, not a live fare: €100 direct versus a €120 reward fare, paid with a €90 reward and €30 cash. The €90 reward costs €30 in vouchers.
Before converting your vouchers
- Check eligibility, availability and the full direct price.
- Read the partner’s current terms and request only the reward value you need.
- Exchange through Tesco, then follow the reward email’s booking instructions. An ordinary Clubcard voucher is not the partner code.
- Note the expiry and complete redemption in time. Don’t assume every partner has the same validity period or refund rules.
Christmas Savers top-up and bonus vouchers are excluded from these partner exchanges. Clubcard Prices on Tesco shelves are a separate benefit from exchanging vouchers for rewards. These are Republic of Ireland offers; UK partner lists and rates may differ.
