Match the model and fit
For shoes, compare the exact model version, size and width. For equipment, compare capacity and included accessories. A cheaper version or bundle is not an equivalent saving; check suitability before buying sale stock.

Sports & outdoors savings in Ireland
Compare sports gear by model, fit and the total cost of getting it home. Small accessories, shoes and bulky gym equipment have different delivery economics. Collection or a pickup point can be more useful than chasing a free-delivery threshold.

Inspect the delivery split
Mixed warehouse stock can produce separate delivery charges. Compare the basket’s total with collection or a pickup point, rather than assuming the website’s headline rate covers every item.
Treat gym equipment separately
Check weight, dimensions and access before choosing delivery. Ask whether assembly is included and compare that quote with any collection transport you would need. Standard free shipping does not establish a bulky-item entitlement.

An accessory order
Illustration: €30 of Decathlon gear with a €7.99 home option totals €37.99; with an available €4.99 pickup-point option it totals €34.99, saving €3 before travel. Free store collection totals €30 before travel. Use the actual offered services because stock and parcel size can change the fee.
A bulky purchase
Illustration: the same hypothetical €400 equipment price plus Decathlon’s €59.99 bulky rate totals €459.99. At Elverys, a €20 home-gym rate totals €420, or €440 at its €40 oversized rate. The difference is €39.99 or €19.99 before assembly; confirm the same model and applicable service before choosing.
